We are on a search for a qualified and resourceful HR Generalist to support both our employees and team. The HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, helping the company to plan and administer essential functions, such as HRIS and analytics, reporting and compliance, and compensation and benefits.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Support employees with any questions and needs regarding benefits, compensation, performance management, company policies.
Providing day-to-day support and administration of HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, Learning, Development and Wellness.
Manage and track FMLA, short-term disability, ADA, and other leaves of absence.
Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve the employees’ experience.
Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
Collaborate with the human resources management team to assist with the planning, communicating, and tracking of company-wide initiatives and objectives throughout the year.
Assists in development, revision, implementation, and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.
Timely and accurate completion of annual compensation, salary, and benefits surveys.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
Two years Human Resources experience, with a proven record of progressive human resources experience at an administrative level.
Two years’ experience using HRIS and payroll processing systems.
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
Understanding of state and federal employment regulations.
Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Flexibility in responding to unanticipated situations and excellent time management skills.
Able to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
Must be self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Knowledge of UKG a plus.
