Job Purpose:
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
1. Manage the processing of all Accounts Payable
a. Check printing
b. Vendor communications
c. Vendor Statement reconciliations
d. Setup new vendors
e. Ensure accurate coding of invoices
f. Communicate with project managers about job invoices so that they are properly coded
Accounts Receivable:
1. Manage the processing of all Accounts Receivable:
a. Create draw requests (billings) to send to customers
b. Send monthly Statements
c. Create lien releases to be sent with billings
d. Communicate with customers
Other Duties:
1. Setup new jobs in accounting system
2. Import new jobs and new change requests into accounting system
3. Heavy communication with project managers regarding job costs and billings
4. Help controller with yearend reporting requirements (1099’s)
5. Eventually will be backup to Payroll department
Skills and Abilities:
- Detail oriented

- Great Communicator – Communicate with other departments and coworkers to achieve company’s goals

- Ensure quality of all Accounting practices and reporting are achieved
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) – intermediate level required
- Bluebeam/PDF – beginner to intermediate level preferred
- Viewpoint Spectrum Accounting software (ok if no experience with this software)
Education and Experience:
- Previous accounting experience required (minimum of 3 years)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, not required
- Construction Industry experience preferred, not required
- Flexible and relaxed work environment
- 100% in-office
